At Durlon, we conduct all gasket testing in-house, ensuring the highest quality for both raw materials and finished products. Our extensive lab capabilities include various ASTM tests to evaluate gasket properties such as tensile strength, creep, leakage, and compressibility/recovery. We use ovens for conditioning samples and performing oxidation testing on graphite and other high-temperature materials. Our Amtec machine allows for precise gasket performance testing, including EN 13555 gasket factors and ultra-low emissions leakage testing with a helium mass spectrometer. We also perform competitor material testing. Additionally, we use PMI (Positive Material Identification) and hardness testing equipment to verify the quality of all metallurgy brought into our plant before production.
