USP (short for United States Pharmacopeia) Class VI is a series of biological tests, requiring a product to show minimal to zero levels of toxicity, making it a suitable gasket material for use in medical devices and other applications where a ‘hygienic’ material is required.
Like the rest of Durlon’s PTFE material, Durlon® 9000N is FDA compliant, making it suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and beverage, and biotechnology industries.
